I. Lewis Libbey, the Vice president's chief of staff, testified to the Grand Jury, investigating the outing of spy Valerie Plame, that the Vice President told him to release her name to the news. He claims he told the VP that this was illegal. He then claims the next day, the VP went to the President, and got permission to expose her.
Do you remember the President, said he would fire anyone in the White House, that was connected to the outing of Plame.
